Something interesting happened to me in the past few weeks. I got busy. Really busy. In fact, über busy (which is busy with pretension.)This isn't' even a real update. I have been painting my little heart out every day and trying to keep up with other commitments. Included is this weekend where I will be on a panel discussion of a Christian Men's Conference. I'm not sure what the topics are but I already know all the answers.
I have included an image that is complete. It started off looking really bad. Then good. Then I took the masking tape off of the car and it looked even worse. Then I had a friend into the studio for a crit. Then I painted in the car. Then it got better. I think it resolved itself quite well.
So, just to update the score - for those that are playing the home version of "Fear & Panic @ the Art Studio":
Paintings Started: 24. Paintings Complete: 6
Days until work needs to be finished: 18
So now I eat. Then I go to studio and paint and watch hockey. The romance is overwhelming.
