The Show is Open
So the opening was great. I forgot to take photos. I dusted myself off and had a latte with the lovely Wanda Underhill and discussed the evening. I also snapped some pics of the gallery.
yes and no. i suggested things based on my time with them in my studio. but in this case there were 2 things that determined how they were hung. 1. i was not there until they were hung..and that was the bi factor! and 2. wanda has a knack for hanging. she knows her space and had about a week to spend with the work before it went up. i find it always depends on the owner/curator. some want input. some want you to show up at the reception and just smile.

The paintings were amazing! The concept of erosion was masterfully conveyed through concept and visual artistry. Well done Christopher!
Hi Christopher! Those look amazing...and flawlessly displayed. Do you have a lot of say in how they're hung?

Found your blog through a blog through a blog etc...which was fortuitous. I like these a lot.
Nicely done.
